NAVITIME JAPAN Launches Multilingual "Route Search Widget"

To Search the Route Between Train Stations

TOKYO, Japan - November 13, 2017 - NAVITIME JAPAN Co. Ltd. further expanded its "NAVITIME for Japan Travel" services. Starting from November 10, a route search widget will be launched, aimed at corporates.

This service will enable companies to embed this widget in their own website, so their users can enter the station name they plan to travel from and to go, and the route search result will be shown in the NAVITIME website. This widget is provided for free.

"NAVITIME for Japan Travel" is NAVITIME Japan's proprietary, multilingual app that can search travel routes and maps based on the company's comprehensive Total NAVI® search engine, which is capable of searching for sightseeing spots, free Wi-Fi hotspots, trains, buses, walking routes and other useful travel information while offline. Now the multilingual route search is provided as a web service, and as a result, it can be transited from any kinds of web services related to traveling in Japan.

This widget is provided in 4 languages, considering the use of foreign travelers planning to come to Japan. It also has a Japan Rail Pass mode which displays routes that give a priority to routes on which travelers can use the Japan Rail Pass, a travel pass offered jointly by six companies under the JR Group, which is for tourists who come to Japan for sightseeing purposes.
